The Luminous Literary Magazine will be holding a short story, prompt-based contest for the seventh issue! We are so excited to present this opportunity to young writers.
The Prompt:
"Run!"
“Where? We're surrounded!”
“Then run towards them!"
The Details:
- The contest is open to homeschool students ages 11 through 18.
- When submitting for the contest, we ask that writers abide by our standard submission guidelines.
- Because this is a creative writing contest and different from our typical submissions, our magazine will be accepting entries until November 21, 2021.
- There will be prizes! The first-place winner will receive both first written-work placement in our magazine and a free printed copy of the seventh edition! Runners-up may be published in a special contest section of the magazine.
- To be considered for the contest, please indicate it is an entry for the contest within your submission email.
- The winner will receive an email from our magazine, before publishing, to arrange the details of the winner’s printed copy of The Luminous.
- Judging for the contest will be done by The Luminous student staff.
