The Luminous

If you find yourself writing or drawing this summer, and you're a homeschooling student, consider sending your work our way.  The Luminous publishes short stories, poetry, artwork, plays, and more from homeschooled students anywhere in the nation so long as they are ages 10-18. 

We are pleased to present the Spring 2024 issue of  The Luminous Literary Magazine , published by the students of  SHINE St. Charles homeschool group . We sincerely hope you enjoy this publication as much as we have enjoyed creating it.  Your eyeballs can view the issue in three ways: 1. A PDF version is available for free . No strings. 2. A Kindle version is available for $0.99. This does, in fact, cost money. We have made it as low as possible. 3. A Paperback version exists. Physical. You can touch it. A real tree died for this. Due to the increased size of the magazine this issue, the price has been increased to $10.25. Also, submissions are open for fall 2024. We hope to see you in the next issue.

 Submissions for the Spring 2024 issue have closed, but our staff is working hard to deliver the next volume of The Luminous. Vol. 12 should be available this May.
